Well, I guess the title pretty much sums it up. If someone could shed some light on this it'd be appreciated! (if there even is any difference)

The EVO2 has as I would explain it, "ramps" for the BBs. It's a very gradual increase to the end of the bucking in comparison to standard bucking teeth where it's just two bumps protruding into the barrel that the bbs almost end up hitting. The Maple Leaf bucking alone is the OEM style with the "teeth" while the KSC2/EVO2 is the ramp style. Also the EVO2/KSC2 setups also have a steel arm that also has a larger contact point.

Oh alright. So basically what you're saying is the rat hop up is better?

Negative,  so far the EVO2/Ksc2 setup is the best for the LM4 with the Guarder bucking coming in at 2nd place.

Can you use the evo2 hop up with a guarder bucking?

Basically, what do you have in your lm4? And also on your YouTube channel, do you have a how to for hop up replacement? Because I'd love to watch one from you... They're the best informational lm4 videos on YouTube by far.

I'm currently running the EVO2 and RA-Tech barrel, though this weekend I'm about to try those new Falcon barrels. I'll try to get a hop-up video made, been really busy as of late and have a hard time getting new videos out.

Awesome! Be sure to let us know how the falcon performs.

They say KSC but have the new hopup cuts, one of the KSC models actually has the new hopup system.

They also have a 509mm length

Interesting, most sites that show the internals have teeth that look like this

That's an example from AEX though I've seen other sites that also look like that.

Yeah I was separating EVO2/KSC2 and Maple Leaf since the EVO2/KSC2 is a set while the bucking alone just states Maple Leaf which the OP stated. Weird, I also saw it elsewhere with those teeth, Ill have to try to remember where.

Gonna back up boobie on this one.  I have the evo2 kits and order a separate maple leaf bucking, all of them look the same to me as well.

First hand experience=FACT. Can't always trust what the retailers post up on their websites.

Jusst ordered a kit for the M17 from WGCshop
Will let you know how's mine;

In the meantime, while this might ne be the best topic to ask this... I'm in need of a barrel with the correct cut, should I try to find a Falcon or should I go with a Ratech one? Can't seem to find any retailers selling the falcon at all. And I'd say 6.01mm for the Ratech  seems to scream BB jams no? What's the bore of the falcon one?

Thanks

I believe the falcon is also 6.01mm but don't quote me on that. I have the ra-tech, cut down to 260mm and recrowned. I have been using kwa, g&g, and elite force BBS without a single jam (in the barrel) for at least 2000 rounds.

This tightbore (the rat one) is compatible with the rat evoII hop up correct? I know it's a stupid question but I just want to make sure.
