I have been trying to find some way to make it work for a sidearm other than a dropleg. I really want it to replace my ol faithful M18 but cant seem to figureout a good way to have it holstered or held for sidearm purposes. This is for a sniper loadout which I was considering a M18 and M26 (belt and ankle boot respectively) but after using it in CQB I love this gun.

my beef with a drop leg is with the extended mag it swings around.. bumps on trees and doorways and puts my leg way off balance not to mention being concerned for the safety of my gun. Also the bottom strap slides down my leg and loosens making it swing even more wildly during play.  maybe I have a crappy dropleg (bought it a few years back for a TM MP7). But if there's some way to rig it with a sling so itll 'stay put' until needed please pass it on. (I tried a 2 point and it kept hitting me in the back and after a while it hurt :(  )

If you're gonna use it as a sniper backup, the short mag has got to be the way to go.  I have a pantac MP7 holster that can go belt or drop, and on the belt with a short mag it'd be just fine.  The gun is too heavy for a dropleg with long mag.  Way too much wobble.

Ive also got the Pantac MP7 holster and it holds up just fine.  The mag is usually out holstered, even though that defeats the purpose of a sidearm (its more of my secondary than a sidearm)

Does anyone think you could use something like a shoulder rig designed for an MP5K?  I've seen some like this:

I guess I'd have to get some rings to attach the two holding straps to the MP7, but those are now readily available.

Do you think this would work?

you can use one of these...

The swivel ring can be move to left, right and top side.

Picture you see above is for TM MP7.  To use it on KWA MP7 will need a correct size screw for the top.  You'll know what I'm talking about when you install it.

Where do you get one of those? Do you have any pics of that rig in action?
