I've been enjoying the KWA Prescion barrel for a couple of months now. KWA told me the more I use it the better it would perform.

Today I played at an indoor arena and chrono'd at 410 with .20 bbs. The velocity was chalked up to temperature ... After about 10 shots I was hitting 390s which was just under the field limit.

My concerns for the group ... I run Goldenball .30 and Madbull precsion .25 ... The .30 has been my favorite.

I have the hopup set all the way down ... Last notch, can't go any further. With one click on the hopup I was getting up up and away; and flyers going left and right most noticeable at about 100 feet.

I experience the same with .25 to a lesser effect though. It seems the .30 flys farther but the .25 flys with less of a hopup effect.

I played some dark mission and ran a tracer with Madbull .25 precision tracers ... Same effect at distance ... I also noticed there seems to be a slight corkscrew effect at distance ... This was more obvious at distance ... It's a tight clockwise spin.

I'm up against hi-cap AEGs and automatic fire ... At 100 feet I need to be precise with my shot placement ... Today I was getting rained on by players with drums from across the field.

Prior to the barrel I was adjusted midway and would move a click depending on the ammo. One got more velocity and more range.... Straight and level trajectory out to 100 feet or so ...

Any comments or experience to share?

That's what I'm saying ... KWA installed OE bucking.

I had he rifle in for warranty and KWA shop installed the barrel and new bucking.

The rifle is untouched except for the barrel ... No oil, nice and dry rubber

UPDATE:

OK.. think I solved this on my own. Apparently I had a misfeed/double feed and a BB was crushed. Very small pieces lodged in the hopup... I found crushed BB in my Noveske amplifier as well. I disassembled, cleaned and reassembled ... All seems to be well now. Hopup is set midway and I am getting flat shots with no deviation.

You know, my son got a bunch of BB's stuck in his Noveske amplifier too!  I have NEVER had a BB break in my KWA's other than this time.  He has since removed the amplifier and replaced it with a mock suppressor.  Now I have no explanation for why this happened or what, if any, issue it may cause with the gun.  That said, I won't be using this amplifier again...

I would assume the problem with the kx3 is a lot like when a real suppressor is misaligned and you get baffle strikes.
