Just got it, and for the first few mags I shot through it, it worked flawlessly.  Then the slide started sticking back about 1/4 of the way so I took it apart and lubed it up which seemed to fix that problem.

The problem I am having now, is that it only shoots every other shot.  It does not jam, it just only feeds every other shot.  The strange thing is that on the shots that it does feed, the slide only blows back half way.  It stops doing this about half way through a mag and works fine, for about the last 15 rounds and has plenty gas to lock the slide back.

Now though, I am having that problem, plus every once in a while the slide will stick between shots, so that the cylinder is all the way in the forward position and the slide is almost all the way forward after a shot.

Using green gas, not propane, good bbs, and only lubed recommended parts.  Also I read the previous thread on what sounded at first like a similar problem and my cylinder is not broken.  I was really looking forward to this gun, and mostly I am pleased with it... but overall I am very disappointed that It would have this many problems right out of the box.

Ok, now I went to go shoot it again, and it had all of the same problems... AND a couple times it would not complete the cycle at all, and act like it was out of gas until I racked it again.  I refilled the mag with bbs but no gas, and it worked perfectly, no problems, no jams, shot every time, and enough gas to lock the slide back.... Refilled with green gas and bbs, and back to the same problems, fires every other time, and jammed once.

I understand that the reason it doesn't fire half the time, is that when it does fire, it only blows back half way, thus not loading a second round in.  Anyone know what could be causing this?

Just shot it again.... and WTF now if the mag is full with bbs, the slide wont blow back at all, the hammer just moves and releases a little bit of gas.  PLUS all of the other issues that are going on.  Oh, and for the last about 10 rounds it works perfectly..... mag issue?

this thing is starting to piss me off.

Hi Devgru, I am sorry you are having problems with your new purchase. Just for clarification can you tell me which parts you lubricated specifically and what brand and weight of bbs you are using?

lube the cylinder, spring guide (felt rough), an lightly on the slide rails.  Tested with g&g .28s they feed flawlessly in my 55rps dsg gun with 6.03 should be fine in this.  Also tested with some madbull match grade .20s with the same results.  Thanks for the help!

Edit: ticket submitted, thanks again for the help

While I was at KWA headquarters we shot a few mags out of the HK45 with no issues at all.  This guns has to be by far the most accurate GBB pistol I have ever shot.

I have to agree with Niko.  There where several HK45s on the line that fired great.  I know I would be comfortable getting one and using it in an OP.

I am having the same problems right out of the box and it jams constantly, slide sticks, wont feed up the feeder ramp and looks like the feeder pin is deformed...extremely dissatisfied and disappointed from this reputable company...on top of that i did shave the feeding ramp down a bit with a dremel but looks like the feeder pin (which is plastic is deformed or dented at the front) wont do the job anyway....i am seriouslu pissed about these issues.

One of the issue I have noticed is that the slide catch lever sometimes backs itself out when firing and it hinders proper cycling which lead to feeding problems.  Mine sometimes fell out so I used a little locktite at the end and it's holding ok.

I feel the same... worse probably.  Kwa received my hk45 June 1st.  IT IS NOW JUNE 27TH and someone JUST NOW informed me that they are waiting on parts from the factory.  My guess is that it will be another month, and that I will also get no compensation for not having my pistol I paid 165 dollars for for a month or more.

Devgru, we do apologize for the inconvenience and understand how frustrating this must be for you. We are doing our best to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. The reason we are waiting on the updated parts from our factory is because we want to make sure you do not have any problems in the future. Unfortunately the parts come from out of the country by boat so there is some wait time. Once the parts arrive your item will be given priority and we will extend your warranty once it is returned. Again I apologize for the inconvenience.

Wouldn't it be more cost and time effective to send me a new one that has been tested before sending it?

My feed ramp snapped in half, no idea how that happened and KWA is out of stock. Good move Chris on being impatient and buying a used model so you have no warranty *face palm*. Though warranty or not, I hope KWA gets the feed ramps back in stock soon so I have more then a really nice paper weight.

Have you tried calling to see if they have some they can spare.  Not all parts are listed in the Pro Shop.
