I was wondering where i could get some sights like the one's on the mp7. Mainly what I'm looking for is a circle and post when flipped up, (That part doesn't matter) and when down they have 2 split white dots in the rear, and one white dot in the front. The closest thing I could find is the Elite Force Flip-up Sights. But they are a little to expensive. I want to spend a little less than $40...

Mk then... But I posted it in the MP9 section because the person answering it would know whether or not their solution would have correct clearance over the rear sight. I have my reasons for posting it in the section I did. And I titled it KMP9 sights because that would notify them what I would be putting it on so the would know about the rear sight. I have my reasons for titling it what I did. There's no need to randomly move and rename it without permission. I get that you are a moderator, but you should have the knowledge of common courtesy and also put it to use. And for any other posters, I am still looking for an answer.

I am not a mod, but the content of your post only asks where you can get MP7 like sights, and what you have found. It makes no references to the MP9 (other than eluded to in the original title) or what your reasoning for why you want the sights (was this expressed in the original title?). You may have had your reasons for originally posting in the MP9 forum, but they were not clearly expressed in the content of your post....

As far as I am aware the MP7 is the only firearm that has the flip up pistol sights. The flip up sights are due to the unique characteristics of the weapon platform (PDW). In most other short barreled guns, flip up sights are impractical; they just don't have the range to warrant elevation / windage adjustments.

SA, this was by no means a randomly move and rename your thread.  That said, we are here to help and if you perhaps clarify your question we can do so.

Okay, I have found two possible solutions. And this is to gcw360 and R_King91303, please don't post on any of my topics anymore. I do not enjoy your presence when you do. Because all you try to do is fix something that is not broken (In this instance it is the posting) then give excuses upon why. It's not that I think you are wrong or anything, I just don't care. The point of the forums is to solve problems, not patrol the forums looking posting issues.

Fair enough.  I am putting the post back in the MP9 section and renaming as original.  Carry on.

Unfortunately for you it IS one of our jobs as moderators to monitor this site and organize clutter when possible. If this offends you I don't know what to tell you.

Fortunately this was not cluttered, until it had to moved and whatnot. It was crystal clear of what I wanted -MP7 Style sights for my MP9- Until it was moved and renamed... As a moderator, you should respect your abilities on the forums. For example, you don't just move it and say, "Topic moved and renamed. Carry on." without at least heeding a warning. It's like having the keys to someone's business that asked for your help. You don't simply walk in without notifying them ahead of time and do what you want. And out of the 4 people that post, only one of the four managed to even help with the topic. And shockingly *Cough* *Sarcasm* it wasn't either of the two moderators, or an excessive poster. And niko_gpsy, get your facts straight. No clutter was organized by any moderators, It was merely created by them. And plus to GCW360 and R_King91303, you can can still post on my topics, but *ONLY* if you are actually solving the topic. You can still move my postings around and rename them, just give me a warning first...

Alright guys, enough. Let's not try to argue what's been said has been said, and let's move on. Answering your question Serious, I tried looking on the online pro shop for the rear sight to no avail. Try giving KWA a call at their office to see if they've got any spare mp7 rear sights in stock. Their number is 1-626-581-1777. They're office is open 8:30am to 5 pm PST Mon-Fri, and closed on weekends. Good luck getting that part.

If you are not clear on what it is you are asking, mistakes like this can be made.  And it was corrected when you were more clear on what it is you were asking.  I don't want to go into how many posts we see a day that are posted in the wrong section unintentionally but happens quite a bit.  And we don't mind and are happy to move to appropriate sections when we feel that it is best served when moved or even renamed.  You are correct that we should have sent you a PM to verify your question and an apology is in order, however, your responses are surprising to me due to it's hostile nature.
A mistake was made and it was corrected once you clarified what it is you were asking.  No harm, no foul.
We are all here to help anyone that asks whether you believe that or not.

SA, you need to look at this from another angle.  The mod's moved and renamed the post to try and get the correct traffic to your topic and question.  Then you asked them to move it back, which they did once you clarified your question.  The Mods have been trying to help you the entire time, so why are you busy attacking them?
