Ok, here is the deal. I have the KM4A1.  I took it to an event around near me and it was shooting too fast for me to play with. It was averaging 411fps.  For me to play the rifle has to be shooting under 400 using .20 gram bb's.  So I bought another spring for the M4 to try and down grade the fps so i can use in a game.  Well, I managed to change the spring, but here is the other issue... The weapon is not shooting correctly.  It is firing but the bb's are traveling very slow or they are falling out of the barrel.  Also with this, I see little puff of smoke and the trigger seems to be stuck in full auto as well... Any suggestions on what I can do?

Take a apart and put it back it correctly.  If you don't know how then you should find an airsoft tech that can do it.  BTW, if you brought it new. you have just void the warranty.

You could have just waited for your spring to settle.  Geez 400fps? Whats the US thinking? This isnt paintball. A paintball will hurt alot more at 350 than a 6mm .20g at 400.

Don't compair paintball to airsoft in anyway  but he shoulda waited the 45 days to do his own upgrades or for the spring to settle.

Hmmm, if the gearbox was opened during the warranty period, and KWA is not gonna fix it...spent $400 dollars...hmmm...somebody is really gonna get UPSET for sure

Hope you can fix it but if not, might as well go to a professional airsoft technician for help if opening the gearbox during warranty period is the case.

You remember the saying "Listen to understand, not to respond". I think it also applies to reading to understand what people are writing about, not to read just to reply.

O yea that too. Lot of work (and more money) for a gun. You can buy the complete gearbox for $175 at

I didn't want to make another thread so I decided to add my problem to this one -

I have a KWA KM4a1 in case you didn't know already

I recently rewired my m4 to the back for crane stock. Don't worry, the warrenty was over .  Everything was shooting fine before I rewired it.

So then I rewired it. I tested a few shots before I put the extension on the wire. Everything was fine. But after I modified the wire to be long enough to fit in the stock tube, weird things started to happen.

I put the gun on semi, and when when I put it back to safety it shoots 2 shots on auto when my finger is clearly off the trigger (every so often, not every time). I tried it a few times times and it happened about 2 / 15 times.

I also want to add that I changed the connectors on the end of my battery to be a small - type tamya. Also, some of the wires make some pretty sharp turns. I tried un - doing the turned wires, and still no luck. Should I try harder?

Is this my wiring which is causing this malfunction? Should I send it in to get fixed? What is wrong?!

Thanks for your help  :)

It doesnt have anything to do with your wiring.  It sounds more like a selector plate problem.  Try cleaning that area.

OP, the first problem might be compression problem, make sure your air nozzle isnt cracked and your O-ring is fine
no idea about the second one
