Really considering one of those grips, I like my CAA grip but Im always wanting to try different products.
Yeah, I like trying new products if it weren't such a money pit.

As for the grip:
I was reading through some forums and one thread said the BCM Gunfighter Mod 1 has a thinner grip than the Mod 0, so that's something to consider.  I got the Mod 1 since I have smaller hands.

The higher angle just makes handling much easier for me, I don't feel like I'm dropping my wrist so much as with the MOE (not sure about MIAD).  Also, the thickness really tapers out towards the top giving you a high grip on the back and into the trigger guard.

My brand new LM4c. She's pretty rudimentary right now but i have big plans for her. Already did the buffer spring (noise) mod (thank you akiraspeedstar) and thanks to the advice here, i was able to remove the std flashider with some blow drying and a wrench. Things i still have to do are get up the courage to remove the barrel nut, get the upper re-threaded to fit RS rails, and that should be about it as far as the gun itself. I definitely underestimated the weight of this system, it feels very solid. My brother has a KA M4 GBBR built as a SOPMOD Block II and fully loaded that weighs about the same as this with whats on it now.

Im wondering about the Magpul MOE-K and K2, always been a fan of their products quality and the fact that their FDE would match my stock and what not haha

Yeah, that's a good idea.  I always forget to check the colors from different companies.  Here's a link to a thread that might be useful, you've probably seen it before though

I use the BCM grip on my BCM 14.5 middy RS. I love it. I also have it on my LM4c. The only problem with it is that it is slightly smaller than the lower in width so it doesn't sit flush to the edges. I can't feel it at all especially with gloves on. But if you are stickler for those things it's something to think about. I just want to use as much stuff from my real gun as I can.

Build Update:

Painted my receiver and DD M4A1 RIS II with Brownells Coyote Alumahyde II and it turned out awesome. I love reverse color ARs.

I'm thinking about a BAD Lever. Did the bolt catch mod but don't have the spring. Anyone find a common item that houses a spring that works for the bolt catch mod?

That looks fantastic ky2970! What kind of prep did you do for the receiver?

Thanks. I've been thinking of doing a write up for how I prepped the receiver...

I really like having all the pins, bolt catch, mag release, etc. in black to contrast with the receiver and match the furniture so I first stripped the entire receiver down to its most basic parts including the upper into 3 parts. Then I used a dremel to sand off all of the previous paint. The thing is, the dremel gives the receiver a polished finish which is not what you want for painting so I took 150 grit sandpaper and made all the surfaces rough for full paint absorption. After that, I used isopropyl (rubbing alcohol) and some paper towels to completely degrease and clean the receiver. From there, I applied the alumahyde as instructed using a blowdryer. Turned out great!

Hey guys, a few quick questions. I am switching over to the LM4C after seeing boobie's and akiras YT videos. Once i saw those it was simple, I gotta have one. My question is I see alot of madbull DD lite rails here and I was wondering if there are any fitment issues besides the mod for the gas tube. I have a 9.0 lite on my km4ris and it does not sit square, also when i go to break it down it will only swings open about a quarter of the way then hits on the lower receiver. I would like to run it on the LM4. Any help would be appreciated

Madbull rails will fit perfectly. I'm running a RIS II with no issues.

Is that the airsoft version of the Noveske rail or the real steel? I have the airsoft version on an old AEG and I want to put it my my LM4 but if it's going to require heavy modding I may look at other options.

Edit: somehow missed the part that said Madbull :P Was it easy to put it on?

It goes right on, just cut the pin that blocked the "gas tube" if you want to run it.

Just my opinion, I think you should add BUIS and move your sight forward about 2 in.

Thanks Kevin, turns out what i thought was madbull is actually socom gear/madbull licensed. Maybe thats my issue with that one. Never the less I'm just going to order a new rail with the lm4c, noveske, spikes, still up in the air. But definately madbull manufactured. I cant wait, been wanting one since January, March 21st is going to be a good day.
