Hi I bought a usp compact ns2 about a month ago along with two spare mags. It was working perfectly until now, but this weekend the slide would not lock back after the mag was empty. I tried this with all of my mags, and 2 of the three have this problem. Any idea why this is happening and what i can do to stop it?

OK, this happened to me too. look at the slide lock/ take doen pin.  you will if the slide lock is complete the bar will have a cylindrical peice at one end and a triangular type piece at other end.  if the triangular piece is gone the slide will not lock. hope this helps.

ps- if it is broken off go to the pro shop and buy the piece or send it in for a warranty service if it is within 45 days of purchase

Does the bbs feed down to the last one? It may be that the slide lock mechanism that's part of the bb follower is not going up far enough to engage the slide lock on the gun. Maybe there is a burr on the bb channel or the follower.

also, if you lat the bb follower slam up on the frame of the magazine too much it rubs down the lever and it will not lock

A damaged bb follower is certainly a very good possibility.  Repeated release of the bb follower without the bb's in the mag will damage it and one of the first signs is the slide lock not engaging when mag is empty of bb.

If you can take a picture and post it it would help us help you.  A question first though, when you pull the slide back manually with an empty mag inserted, will the slide lock back?  Also, have you tried cleaning and lubing the gun and if so, how?
