Well, you certainly have not been to first to ask this question.  Unfortunately, I have yet to see where anyone has tried and posted the results.  So the answer is while I don't know, hopefully someone else has tried and can report back.  But like I said, no one has posted the results to date on this forum.

why in the world would anyone do that to a Glock?

IMO, I would buy am MP9 for  $215.00.  It would be about the same price (ATP $130 + 90 kit).

Never tried but it might.  Why would you put on an M17 slide?  The engine that drives the ATP, while similar, is improved over the M17.  There are no guaranties that you will be able to get it to work.  Then again it might.

There are slight differences on the lower frame rails but I have heard that the ATP slide works on the M17 lower frame but not visa versa.

Oh well. I thought the m17 slide with atp guts would look nicer.
