Hey guys I'm new and I love KWA because I love quality! I bought a Kriss Vector and love how solid it feels, I have 6 mags for it and love the solid metal it's made out of.

Now I'm going to buy a Lm4 PTR and I have qustions?

1. Does the flash hider on the LM4 come in plastic or metal? If it's plastic I'll buy a metal flash hider.

2. I read on these fourms that the buffer tube is Mil spec, so I have to buy real steel stocks right? Does that apply to the RIS rails too? or can I use all AEG RIS rails?

This is what I want to buy for now.

Will these all fit?

Magpul stock    http://www.amazon.com/Magpul-CTR-Carbine-Mil-Spec-Buttstock/dp/B00305K99Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399067622&sr=8-1&keywords=magpul+stock

Magpul Handgard   http://www.amazon.co...=A16Y9J544BCC4B

Magpul Pistol Grip   http://www.evike.com/products/45768/

Vertical Grip   http://www.evike.com/products/32952/

Thank you guys

Welcome to the forums! You will not regret buying the LM4.

Answers:
1) The flash hider is metal painted orange
2) The buffer tube is milspec so you do need real steel stock. However, the threading for the delta ring is for AEG's so AEG rails will fit.

Everything you have linked should fit.

Have fun!

Thank you Lost for your fast reply!  I'm about to buy my LM4 now. I was just waiting for those answers. I already bought my mags for the lm4. I just don't have the gun. I know the mags are hard to get so I bought those right away.

Note that the grip you linked to has a more acute angle and is better suited for short weapons.  You may love it, but you might what to consider this one: https://store.magpul...oduct/MAG416/39

Shop around you can get them for less.  I have the one I linked to on my LM4 and I very much like the rubberized wrap around on it for secure handling.

Thanks 360, Yes that's the one I want. I'm new to this so I thought the one on evike was normal length.
I have another question.

Will this Sniper grip fit the LM4? I'm looking for this to make a sniper rifle to change up my gun once in awhile.
If that doesn't fit can someone post me a link to a real one that fits the LM4.

Thanks guys I'll be posting some pics of my gun pretty soon. I ordered it last night after I talked with "Lost"

I don't think this grip will fit but perhaps someone can say for certain.  Look to real steel grips.  At most you may need to do some slight sanding if the profile is off and add a washer to the inside where the screw secures the grip to the lower.  I needed a washer on my Magpul grip.

So called "real steel" pistol grips should fit with minimal work.  Here's a pair of my preferred M16A1 grips on my LM4 and my "service" rifle.

FWIW, I have shot quite a few actual military sniper rifles and designated marksman rifles and have never come across one with a grip like that. Those that do have grips (like the M110 or MSR/PSR) tend to have a normal style AR grip of one form or another. The PSG-1 from H&K is the only thing I have ever really seen with a grip like that and not widely used.

I received my LM4. I can't get the delta ring to pull back to remove the hand guard? is there a trick to that? And is the flash hider glued on? I removed the little allen screw that is in the flash hider.

Thanks

Yes, the flash hider has some sort of loctite on the threads. You can heat up the end of the barrel to make the stuff softer, but the best thing to do is get a wrench in the same size as the flat parts of the flash hider and then just give it some muscle. Remember, the threads are righty LOOSY and lefty TIGHTY, since they are CCW.

Thanks Pickle. But what about the Delta ring? I bought a 7 inch ris rail to replace the stock handguard and I tried to pull the delta ring back to pop out the stock handguard and it doesn't even move?

When I wanted to remove my delta ring I had no problems with it. I just braced the stock on my hip and pulled down. It seems that some people have delta rings which are harder to remove, but I'm not sure what the cause is. As for removing the barrel assembly and unscrewing the delta ring, you WILL absolutely need a heat gun or hair dryer to heat up the threads. That process is a little more complex and requires an armorers wrench.

Okay, I got the tip off, and stripped the paint off of it and you wouldn't even know it had orange on it.  I was able to force the delta ring back. I had to put the stock on the ground and the gun facing up to me and I pressed down. I had to do it a few times to free it up. It was really that hard to press back! I wanted to ask to make sure because I didn't want to break it.

Thank you everyone for helping me .  I'll post some pics,I have to customize it. I just put a magpul ctr stock and a 7 inch RIS rail on it with a vertical grip. I bought 5 extra mags and I didn't have the money to buy a scope yet.
