I don't think that's still the case considering KWA has a Magpul grip on a different rifle.

Not sure...but if it is I bet it has something to do with the lower receiver not being to real steel spec and the grip having to conform.  That, my friend, would be driven by the BATF....but that's just a guess.

Good point... I made a point earlier last year that the magazines in the real steel may be a little too big to fit inside the kwa receiver, therefore, blocking any way of putting real rounds into the gun via a magazine because of ATF. Maybe we share the same feeling?
