I have just purchased a KWA SR10 and I am interested in placing a mock [barrel extension] on the end. My problem is that almost all of the options I have found are intended to be screwed on to the end of the outer barrel. I do not wish to extend the length of the barrel or replace the outer barrel.

What I would like to do is find a [barrel extension] that can be screwed in to the preexisting outer barrel, but instead of protruding outward and increasing the overall length, extend backwards and cover a section of the outer barrel. This would almost give the appearance of a CQR while still keeping the stock outer/inner barrel.

Does anyone know of a product that will do this for me? Thank you for your time.

Sounds like a pretty cool idea, but I don't think there are any like that :(

Something like this? KM4A1 on top KM4 RIS with Madbull Quicksilver on the bottom.

There is another option, if your SR10 has a 2pc outer barrel, as the later ones do, you can take the end of the barrel off and add a mock suppressor there.   The threads are CCW 14mm same as the flash hider. Posted Image

Yes that Is the look that I am going for GCW360. I had actually looked into what you are suggesting already, but it does not seem to be that simple. This is, of course, unless I am missing something.

It looks like the front end of the outer barrel is joined with the back end under the (#540) Gas Tube Base. In order to attach the 14mm female end of the suppressor, I would also need to remove the Gas Tube, correct?

No, actually you can take the end of the barrel off and add a mock suppressor without removing the gas block.  See here:

Ah, I see! I was thinking the Gas Block covered the joint but it is actually in front of it. Excellent! Thank you for the info GCW.

The madbull surefire barrel extensions will do that, and add about 3.5 inches depending on the model you get

A&K sr25's have wgat your talking about, where the supressor slides over the top of the outter barrel and clip onto the gas block. id look into where and how you can get the 2 nesisary parts to get it but I know what you are talking about. Im custom building my SR10 and since it has an odd inerbarrel (425mm) I went to an angel custom 6.01x455mm stainless tbb. so I needed a little over an inch of extra barrel I bought a threaded supressor to cover the inner barrel up and still preform the "suppressing" action, since it had a little bit of room between the end of the supressor and the end of the inner barrel.
