i was thinking about upgrading my kwa m4a1. I'm thinking about putting in the following.

Systema M130 spring
DBC 509mm inner barrel
Systema Area 1000 Cylinder Type 0
Firefly hop bucking hard type
MadBull Gemtech "Blackside" Barrel Extension

what do you think about all that?

Sounds good, just remember.. if you do go DBC you have to become a religous barrel cleaner as in after every game. 6.03 are easier cause its after every night. Good luck with the upgrades ;)

I don't think you have to clean it THAT much.  Some people do it before a match and after they are done for the day.

You don't need to clean it, but you should, because it will be less accurate.

Yeah the UBER- BARREL.

You don't know how to clean your barrel? You will learn really well after a few days with a barrel like that.

If you take a caliper and measure your "6.0 mm" BBs, youll see that they are only 5.92mm.

I like the picture. Nice! :)

Anyway, you would still have to clean a 6mm barrel a lot. Still more than the 6.04.

Or you could go with my position and keep the stock one because you are scared to upgrade anything for fear of your gun being too fast for your fields fps limit...

I'm planning something very simular to your upgrades with some minor differences.  I have a questions.... What is the difference between a type 0 and a bore up cylinder?

Will this work?  http://www.airsoftgi...products_id=398

DBC 509mm inner barrel
Systema Bore Up Cylinder Set for M4 or (Systema Area 1000 Cylinder Type 0)
Firefly hop bucking soft type
MadBull Gemtech "Blackside" Barrel Extension

Thanks

type 0 is a "closed" cylinder with no holes in it and the bore up cylinder ur looking at is one with holes. not sure wat all that is called again but a type 0 is for longer barreled guns.

I also have a KM TN 6.04.

You dont really have to clean your barrel until you see the teflon build up even on a 6.00ID.
Obviously a 6.04 wont be as much prone to dirt than barrel with a smaller ID.
Thats on my other AEG setups.

I did have some problems on my stock KWA barrel because of the high ROF the barrel heats up and melts the teflon. So ita a case to case basis

Thanks Elite for the response... I'm going 20" on the barrel so I guess Type 0 would be best for me then.  Any reason for the ported holes on the cylinder bore up??
