Nice to meet all of you. I am new to this forum but unfortunately one of the main reasons that I registered here is to vent out the problem that I have with my recently purchased HK45.
A little bit of background:
I just purchased this pistol at a well established airsoft shop Dentrinity in Hong Kong on 28th November 2012 (This Wednesday) and the pistol works fine when I test shot it. I went home, removed the slide, lubricated the necessary areas excluding areas where bbs will come into contact, and shot around 2 magazines worth of bbs. The pistol still worked fine. However, on 29th November (Thursday), when I tried to shoot my pistol again the bb jammed and cannot load the bbs into the feeding chamber. I immediately sent the gun back to dentrinity shop to repair on the 30th Novmeber 2012(Friday) and they said the loading nozzle was warped. They tried to fix it by heating the nozzle and warp it back to the default position but naturally I have to pay for the repair costs (after two days of just owning the gun). I got back my gun today (2nd December 2012) and guess what it jammed again. This is utterly ridiculous as that means that the repair costs was spent for nearly nothing. Repair costs aside, I spent around US$160 for this pistol and it jammed the second day I shoot it.
I have bought a spare loading nozzle and am thinking to change it. I do not know whether it's the problem of the nozzle or the feeding ramp. This is my first KWA product and I am utterly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, when the pistol worked fine (for the one day), it shot like a beast and feels great in my hand. Now it has become a worthless piece (until one day it gets fixed).
I am sorry if I sound frustrated but that is indeed what I am feeling. The worst thing is there seems to be no support in Hong Kong but just a contact email (I have just sent an email), and I might need to spend more AGAIN just to get it fixed. That is why I am posting in the US forums.
I hope the people from KWA can address my problem IMMEDIATELY as I want to fully enjoy the product. I was originally planning to buy your USP COMPACT next month but now I am having reservations.
I look forward to any assistance/suggestions soon.
Thank you for reading my long venting post. Not a good starting post for a new member I know, I hope I could share more great things about HK 45 (if it works again) to all of you in the future.
