Hey guys

I have own a I have a kwa lm4c, and so i decided to add a new rail system on to my lm4c. I read through this forum from the 3rd party compatible thread and found that the mad bull Omega rail will fit on the kwa lm4 without any modifications. I went ahead and purchased one, it arrived today, when i tried to install it, it won't fit properly. I can't put the second screws on. There is a gap in between the rails when i tried to install it. From what I see here I am missing a extra ring?http://s1153.photobu...04b642.jpg.html
If so where can i find that ring?

Here is how it looks on my lm4c
1.) http://s1317.photobu...html?sort=3&o=0
2.)http://s1317.photobu...html?sort=3&o=1

Thanks
Ying

Did you even pull back the delta ring? The two halves install just like standard handguards.

Yah i pulled back the delta ring like how i removed my original handguard and it isn't fitting as you can see from the other members gun he has an extra ring, I am wondering if i need that extra ring to be able to install it.

I circle it in red. Attached File  LM4_SBR_2_zps8404b642.jpg   93.05K   33 downloads

There's nothing extra required, I also own an Omega rail and it was a straight drop in. Two things concern me 1) It looks like that you have the "tan" version. At the time I purchased my Omega rail, the tan version was only available for the X variant. I believe the X variant was only compatible with non "mil spec" delta rings or M4s with no gas tube. 2) You need to secure the 4 side screws 1st, then secure the delta ring anchor screws; it's hard to tell in your pic if you already installed the delta ring screws.

I got it from here, http://shop.ehobbyas...dark-earth.html There is a modification need, the is a little piece of metal under the rail system that block the gas tube, I have to file it down so it will fit.

It definitely isn't the X version. From the pictures, your rail system isn't seated in your delta ring. Google how to install the RS version. Also make sure the 4 screws in front of the delta ring are loose and not blocking it.

Another option is to just remove your gas tube.

How did your omega clear the gas tube? or there wasn't a piece of little metal in the way.

I performed no mods, only the X version has the piece of metal that blocks the gas tube. At this point you can perform the mod, or back to the retailer to get a non X version.
