Ok, so i have a problem (obviously)

After owning my mac11 for about a month or so, the cylinder broke off right after firing for about the fifth time. I sent it back to KWA and they replaced it and it worked for another few months. now on to the problem.

Now, once i fire it, mag full of bbs and gas, it jams 1 bb imediately every time. The bolt travels all the way forward and stops there, as if their was no gas in the mag. (the position it is in at this point will be the first picture.)

Once removing the mag, and pulling the bolt back, there is a bb stuck right at the begining of the barrel (this is the second picture). No gas comes out at all. keep in mind it does not just roll right through either end, it is simple stuck and pretty much needs an unjaming rod to get it out.though just blowing at the other end will get it out.

I use clean good 0.2 bbs, (and have tried several other brands) So i do not think it is the bbs. I have also taken the gun apart and lubed it with silicon oil nicely so i do not think this is the problem either. Also i have tried turning the hop up all the way down and all the way up.

i have taken out the hop up bucking, complete rided it of any oils whatsoever, out it back in. and it worked for two bbs then it jammed again. so i tried putting on some silicon oil, but it did the same.

Any gueses or ideas on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Mh - Welcome to the Forums.  Sorry to hear that you are having troubles.  I have a question, Have you placed silicone in the barrel in particular the hop-up?  And did you use spray silicone?  If the answer is yes to either of ther questions the the issue is probably a swollen hop-up bucking causing jams.  If this is the case then dialing down the hop-up may help.   Try this and see if it helps.  If not then more than likely you would need a new bucking.

gcw360, i used silicon shock oil 40 weight. But did not spray it on only rubed it on. And yes, i have put silicon oil in the barrel/hop up before.
Could you possibly direct me to where i could buy the correct hop up bucking for this gun? Or will any hop up bucking due?
Thanks for the help!

Have you tried turning the hop-up down to see if it helped?  Here is the link for the bucking: http://store.kwausa....pupbucking.aspx

This assumes it the NS2 model...

It is the NS2 model. and i have tried turning down the hop up but it did not make a difference.
You'll have to forgive me for being so unexperinced in installing/moding airsoft guns, but how would i put in a hop up bucking for this gun. Thanks for the help.

Two questions.

1. Do you ever try and dry fire your M11?
2. Do you store your m11a1 with your bolt open or closed?

greatwatermelon, i dont think i have ever dry fired it before, unless you count pulling the bolt back and pulling the trigger with no mag in. And i store it with the bolt closed.

Storing it open can compress the springs that control the bolt which can then create issue with the bolt cycling.

Do no try fire it. If you are dry firing it, there is a good chance the follower at the bottom of the mag will spring up and impact and crack the cylinder. Asking you these questions eliminates the two possibilities.

If the cylinder is good, the magazine doesn't leak, your gas can is fairly full, then it could be what gcw suggested which is a swollen bucking. I would try cleaning the bucking and see if that helps.

i think thats what broke my cylinder before.. my mag is fine as far as i see it. upon disassmbeling it and lookingoser at the barrel i can almost deffinately say its a swollen bucking. ordered a new one, thanks a ton for the help.

You also probably want to stop putting silicone oil on the hop up bucking. The bucking does not need silicone oil, and too much of it can make it swell... which may have caused you jamming problem as a result.

Can you show us a picture your cylinder and bolt assembly?

If this cannot be figured out, I'll check in with Customer Service to see the past records of your M11A1 to see if there was a variable that was possibly overlooked.

hey guys. i just encountered this problem today. i don't dry fire or anything. I never pull the bolt back with the mag in it, or when it is out of ammo. i have kept mine in good shape. I've used good bbs every time. but i do store the bolt open. like i said, this just happened to me today. what can i do to get it fixed? i am not very skilled with internals.

Bravo6 - Is your problem that the BB's are getting stuck in the barrel at the bucking? Also, just a note that you should not store the gun with the bolt open.
