Actually, that is a very good increase in the system for that barrel.

With the Madbull, the barrel only comes in much shorter or 30 mm longer than my SR10. Is there any way to get that barrel shorter, or am I going to have to deal with the extra inch?

The extra inch is ok. It will stick out into the Flash Hider but I do not believe will extend past it. You can always remove the forward outer barrel extension that sits on the muzzle end of the SR10 and then add a Mock Suppressor to cover the exposed inner barrel.

Sounds good. I was just concerned that it would be bent if it went any farther than my flash hider, due to the fact that my mock suppressor is too long for my bag.

I bought a 455mm 6.03 mm madbull and cut myn with a pipe cutter and deburred the inside of the inner barrel. Cut it to 425 mm. I now have a flash hider covering it. Works perfect :)

It was a clean cut and didn't pinch the end of the barrel?

Nope..... it was a clean cut and the inner of the barrel I deburred and filed down lightly. Shoots perfect. As l9ng as you use a pipe cutter it will be a clean cut. The deburring is if the inner barrel ridges up a bit after its cut.

Madbull also sells a 1 inch outer barrel extension.   I just purchased another brand gun and the barrel was 330mm, but i put in a standard 363mm.   The barrel was visible into the flash hider, but with the 1inch extension, it wasnt visible anymore.   Either way works.

Ended up getting the Madbull V2 Black Python. Haven't had much time to play around with it yet, but it fits.

I recently bought an sr12 upper receiver and 6.01 mad bull barrel that fits the sr12 perfectly. I'm not sure of the exact length. I put the receiver and tbb on my stock sr7 2gx and the fps decreased significantly. It shoots around 350fps with the sr7 receiver and barrel but with the sr12 receiver and barrel it shoots around 230fps. I've only been playing Airsoft for a year so im not too sure why this would be happening. There are zero barrel imperfections and the hop up is fine.  Any suggestions or answers? Could it be a compression problem?

It's most likely because you have a cylinder in the SR7 that is ported forward and there is not enough air to run an SR12 length barrel.  Can you post a picture of where the port is on the SR7 cylinder so we can confirm?

I can't post a picture I'm on my phone. I believe you are correct. My local tech had the same suspicion. Will a cylinder swap solve that issue? (Sorry for posting twice)

Yes, but depending on the spring in the SR7 it may put you over 350.
