Well I believe he was referring to dropping in a KWA gearbox into an SRC G36K, so I was talking about V3. (hence swapping out the magwell and such)

D4mnit has done this.  He know has an "SRC" G36C and a "KWA" G36K. (swapped gearboxes)

Are you going to then?

Not to be pushy

No point, I'll just get a Guarder FTK SP120 and save 70 bucks over the KWA gearbox.  I only plan to run the stock spring, or a PDI %150.

If you are asking if I'm going to make an "SRC" G36C and a "KWA" G36K, the answer is no.  I do not have that kind of money (I need to get gear and such) and I already have a G36C. (well...you can call it that....it's an E1 lol)

You might want to keep this on topic.  This is about M4/m16 type 2 gear box.  Not G36 Type 3 gearbox.

Sorry about that.

Anyway, I am glad that the KWA gearbox can hold up that long and I am really glad that I bough this over the G&G.

Really, really glad  :)

Another Bivouac Tourney on the 13th-14th.  I will be using the same KWA m4a1. Note that I normally finish more than a bag of .25s in 24 hours.    Im confident that my piston body will still hold

LOL 3 or 4? thats alot! I only bring two bags...I rarely finish the two. There around 4k BBs in a bag. How large are your bivouac tourneys? We usually have 3 camps and over 100 players per camp.  The last bivouac had 130 men on one camp.  And ,depending on how long you can endure walking, we scout/recon the area and do get encounters. I usually finisg 4 mags per seige and I bring a loader to reload so im ready for an abush while were going back to camp

Ha I only go to one big airsoft war a year. The ones I go to monthly I use up to 4 bags. I only used 4 bags once, and I decided that I used way too much. Luckly, my buddy gave me 2 of the 4 bags of .25s because they were black and he didn't like them. :D

I have been cutting down since then. Last time, I used 10 mags for a full day of war. I'm doing better, but I had to cut down because I could only use my buddy's 600 mah Sanyo battery because my 4200 mah battery fried.

The big one I go to I used 6 bags. Believe it or not, I use tons of ammo. I am trying to cut down, because it is burning a hole in my pocket.  :)

By the way, I use AE .25, about 3000 in a bag.

We have tourneys all over the archipelago almost every week. We choose the ones most conveniet for us. We usually play milsims when speedball gets boring. Not counting an occasional bivouac. We had one a week ago...another this coming sat-sun.

Airsoft is growing fast here. I think we have one of the highest ratio of airsofters per pop/area. A small town like mine will have an ave of 5 teams with 30-100 players on each team. this is getting OT hehehe

That would be awesome!

I have to drive for an hour to go to the only field in my area. It is only open once a month, too. We get like 30 vs. 30. No permanent teams, luckily.

Airsoft is sort of growing around here, too. But most of the people around where I live think when I say "airsoft" they think of the garbage springers the kids play with.
