Thanks guys!  New to KWA and getting back into airsoft so I'll help out anyway I can.

Sorry to shock you all but what is a Ranger plate and what does it do?
Lol, yea I asked it.

They go on your magazines :) They kind of replace the bottom of your mag.

Note that thi=ose are for hi cap mags.  I use these, real steel too: http://store.magpul....uct/MAG212/22

Pack of 3 $15.00

Granted you won't be putting the dust cover on the bottom if you do get them so maybe it's not the way to go.  I like them on my old PMAGs though. :gun:

Yes.  Their value isn't really realized until you go to grab the mag out of a tight mag pouch on your rig as you are being shot at.  Easy to grab and load.  Me likes a lot!!

Yea, I understand I have double stack pouches so it gets tight for my mags :( I might pick some up.

I just tested some of my buddy's G&G 79rd metal midcaps. And they feed flawlessly in my KWA SR10. All 79 rounds, including the very last one because the G&G magazine follower extends out into the hop up.

I haven't been able to test it outdoors to see if my hop up likes the magazines as well, but so far, you guys might want to check out the G&G 79rd metal midcaps, they could very well be the cheap alternative at ~$13-14 a mag. Which, imo is a great deal because for MAGs and such, most people have to load less anyways to actually have their midcap feed mediocrely into their KWA.

MAG 130 rd plastic midcaps and King Arms midcaps are the same. feed perfectly and great fit. barely any wobble. after sometime i recommend spraying silicon oil down the hole and let it sit for a few mins before loadin bb's in.

Spraying silicon oil into the mag is NOT advisable. Oil collect dust and dirt, it'll only get worst.

i actually have more problems with my KWA mags. i bought 4 KWA midcaps and all of have trouble feeding the first few rounds (have to push the mag up into the gun) and when i reload 4-5 bb's will fall out of the magwell.

Most mid caps will not feed the last few rounds.  I'll leave it to someone with more experience with KWA mid-caps but I'm thinking it's normal.:gun:

its not the last few im having trouble, its the first few trigger pulls no BB's will come out, once they do its fine until the mag is empty. then when i reload, 4-5 bb's will fall out of the magwell when i pull the magazine out. this is consistent and when i did a test with a full KWA midcap, every.single.time. i pulled the mag out, 4 bb's fell out until i had a little pile on the floor.

Nearly all mid-caps will have 3-4 bb's fall out of the magwell when you remove the magazine, because the follower in the magazine does not extend into the hop up unit. The mid-caps that completely load all the rounds are the magazines whose follower extends out of the magazine like the G&G mid-caps.

In terms of the first few rounds not feeding properly, that usually happens when you overload a mid-cap magazine.

Thanks for clarifying the issue.  I think Greatwatermelon is spot on with his assessment.

Tokyo Marui STANDARD / Low cap - Excellent fit and feed.

King Arms STANDARD
/ Low cap - Excellent fit and feed - mine had a piece of broken spring in it but had worked for a few games anyway?  Took it out and it works again.

Classic Army STANDARD / Low cap - Great fit and 98% reliable feed.

* Magpul PTS Pmag fit is Great, feed was perfect until I put in a Prometheus 6,03 barrel.  Now it is almost always fine but mis-feeds occasionally.

MAG 120-round plastic Mids - fit Good but 70% did not feed in semi-auto out of the box.  I'd have to hold the magazine up.  Hate them.

S-Arms metal
mid caps - Terrible, tight fit and usually don't feed.  Semi-auto totally unreliable.
The Magpul PTS Pmags you refer to. Are those the M version or are those just the regular ones?
