I received a KG36C today.  I notice that the holes where the set screws should be on the selector switch are filled with some sort of liquid.  Is this standard?  How would one remove the selector switch?  I have need to take it apart now, but am examining for future use...  Thank you.

It's thread lock.  Just remove it with a blunt object when you need to access the set screw.
