Hello ladies & gentlemen.

I own a KWA KP45 Match and love it.

There is, however, a problem with it that I'm hoping any of you could help me with.

I play at a woodland site that does not chrono sidearms but would really like to get into CQB/Urban type skirmishing, problem being as all other sites in the country(or within 2 hrs drive) do chrono everything, with the max possible FPS being 345(350 for some, pretty much standart for UK) and the KP45 Match fires ~365.

I've done some googling but nothing concrete aroused.

I'm open to any kind of modifications/conversions/downgrades in order to lower the FPS to a 345 area.
Would getting a shorter barrel work(ie converting Match into a regular USP)?
If barrels aren't available, would sawing them off work?
Does Dangerwerx Flute Valve work on the KP45 Match? Google only mentioned the SMGs + M9 as platforms that those work on.

Hoping there are some of you that could make this 2013 a (trigger)happy one ;)

Hi AtR, welcome to the Forums and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!  You can try the DWFV.  It will drop you to around 300 FPS.  Another thing you can try is cutting off a few (2) coils from the flute/rocket valve spring.  This will decrease the FPS also and my be a better alternative to get you closer to 345.  Hope this helps.

Thankyou very much! Will give it a go and see what happens when I get some free time off work!

If that somehow fails, would sawing the barrel off work as a last resort?

Unless you have the proper tools to effectively cut and crown the barrel, I highly recommend not cutting it. If you scratch the barrel, you risk the gun not firing properly, and losing a lot of fps.

Try the dangerwerx rocket valve. It works with great success.

Agreed, I would leave the barrel alone.
