Like the title says, I need some tips for removing the delta ring.  I finally got an armorers wrench, but the thing is on the receiver extremely tight and it wont budge.  I put the magwell in a table vice, put the wrench on, and hit it a few times with a hammer.  The only thing happening is the grooves on the ring are becoming worn a bit.  I even tried heating it up, to the point where I couldn't touch the delta ring, and it didn't budge a bit.  I read that the threads are CW, so I should be turning the wrench CCW to loosen it right?

Any advice or tips would be great.

Fortunately I didn't have any trouble removing mine but a second set of hands will definitely help. The spring in the ring keeps the armorers wrench from meshing well with the delta ring.  I suggest you seek some help from someone to pull the ring back while holding down the gun with the other hand.  Then you can get a good grip on the teeth and it will just need a good hard turn to loosen the thread locking compound.
Heating it with a heat gun is an option but I would avoid excessive heat around that area because of the bucking.

I had my brother hold down the gun, I then put on the wrench and tappes it with a rubber mallet. It came off after a few taps, didnt require much force with the mallet.

I did it with an armorer's wrench and sheer brute force. No heat, no vice. However I did need a few stitches when it came loose...Just remember not to pull it towards you like I did :rolleyes2:
