I always thought this gun was priced relatively high. What pushes it up so much? The licensing?

I'd have to go with this answer here, especially considered how much it mimics the real steel model in operation and functionality.

What yall think of the replica surefire barrel extension? Kinda like it..btw..the flashider is screwed on directly to the outer barrel with no adapter.

Boobie, That is exactly what I plan to do with mine.  I plan on adding an extended inner barrel when available.

Me too.  Already have one in the lm4.  And on your recommendation I am about to swap out the RAT blue bucking for the Guarder one.
