Well i took mine all apart today..and saw some good things ...and some bad things.
The hop up teeth to adjust is made of plastic. WHY!? Kwa..WHY!?..Posted Image
I do like how the top rail is mounted, unlike how the lm4 is.
Posted Image
And the 2pc bolt catch system looks to be legit so far
Posted Image
I didnt get a chance to check and see if the valve locker is made of steel..but it looks like itll hold up for a while
Posted Image
I installed the new style guarder bucking in my lm4 and it shoots great!..and so i did here too on the Kriss
Posted Image
The frame was super easy to remove..ill be doing vids on how to in the near future.

Idea, maybe. Can the HK45 hop up adjustment thingy be installed in the Vector? Not too happy about it being plastic.

Is the Evo 2 the stainless hop up arm you've talked about in the LM4 thread?

Wait, what's that Guarder bucking you threw in there? Curious as to what this is compatible with.

Somehow I can't separate the lower receiver from the top. I've pulled all the pins out and did everything the manual said. I think the bottom of the lower receiver is stuck. What can I do to separate them?

Pull the 4 pins out..then you can remove the recoil/bolt assembly and separate the upper/lower halves..make sure to pull the bolt back to cock/lock the hammer back. Mine was a lil stiff taking apart..dont be scared to give it a lil tug

Why is the standard hopup so bad?  I'm a bit of a noob when it cones to the internals of gas guns (and electric guns for that matter).  And how hard is it to replace the hopup on the Kriss?  I was able to do it on my M4 AEG but have never tried to do it on a gas gun.

Why not field the gun and determine for yourself the quality and performance of the hop-up/bucking assembly?

Fair enough!  Although it is snowy and cold where I live so I will have to wait until spring time to play in an actual skirmish.
