When the butthurt between KWA and KRISS happened it was announced that the KRISS Vector and the Sphinx SDP were no longer going to be made. Apparently the Vector is still in production, but it would seem that the Sphinx SDP has disappeared entirely.

Will we ever hear an official version of what happened? One could only assume that KRISS was angry for a reason, but things seem to have simmered down lately.

Thank you for the response.  It also seems that the other pistols( MKV and 945c) have somewhat disappeared. It's been quite a few years now since they were announced.

One can only speculate regarding any "official" announcement or the reason the organizations have parted ways. At the end of the day it all boils down to business and in business, as in anything, there are two sides and multiple factors affecting the outcome.

Regarding the MKV and 945C, I have heard no rumblings of them being DC'd.  I do know that worldwide demand for current products coupled with recent product releases have required resources be focused on  the current product line.
