I'm pretty new to these forums but, I recently came across this item on YouTube:

Charlie Chiang, a USMC veteran developed a Reflex Mag Pouch. Now I'm no poster boy but I thought, "Hey, this should go on the Airsoft Market." It's currently developed for real steel magazines (specifically M4-style mags currently but he is working on AK and .308 mags). This thing looks amazing and it somewhat phases out dump pouches.

I emailed him regarding whether he would develop one for the Airsoft market and he said he will consider it. Not sure what else to say but, support the veterans? :D

I saw this video as soon as it was posted. It certainly has spread across the gun sites quickly and looks to be a very promising invention. I want to know if he can make it so it is incorporated into a molle-attachable magazine pouch, instead of an entire rig, but due to the complicated design with the spring retention systems, it looks like the rig is incorporated. In any event, looks to be awesome for stowing half-used mags so that they are still handy for later.

You know...that looks pretty cool to me.  That said, my load out (BDS tactical) will not support that system because my mag pouches are integrated....

It looks great.  Honestly there is no need for an "airsoft version" though.  There really isn't a difference between real and airsoft gear besides material and other subtle differences.  If he finds a way to put molle straps on it he will be a rich man.

PIstol magazine "cassette" has been around for a few years.  Have no idea how successful it was.

But NEVER put an empty magazine back in the same pouch you keep the full mags!

I think the guy is assuming people will remember which mag they have or have not used.  Though that is possibly a flaw with his design, and probably the only one.  The dump pouch serves as a good divider between spent and full mags so there is no confusion.

I see this more of an application for LE than Military.  I like it.....

I'd use it, 3+ LM4 mags in a dump pouch is bad news.

Exactly, that's why I almost shat myself when I saw this :P This could be the best piece of kit I ever pick up! Maybe once I get an extra $90.00 to throw at pouches...
