Mag holds propane just fine.
Load it up, cock it back and shoot.
BB shoots fine except it doesn't appear to be cocking back far enough to chamber the next round.
If I manually cock it back again and fire it shoots just fine but again doesn't seem to cock back far enough to load the next round.

I am at a total loss as to what this could be.

Help?!

Hi Chaz, welcome to the forum. So does the slide blowback at all? Trying lubricating the main piston seal inside the cylinder... if gas is escaping then that may be the reason why the slide doesn't blowback. Also check your cylinder return springs and see if your cylinder can return into its blowback "housing" so to speak when you pull the slide back. And also ensure your rocket valve is seated properly in the cylinder. You can do so by making sure the flat end of the rocket valve is up against the bar holding the rocket valve and rocket valve spring in place. Those are my initial thoughts, it would be helpful if you could upload a video so we can better understand the problem. :)

The slide does go back but doesnt appear to be going back far enough to chamber the next round.Everything you mentioned checks out when I tear the gun down. All contact points are lightly lubed and sliding with no hard rubbing or binding.I will try to get a video taken and posted (tough to do with a 2 year old running around the house).

EDIT: Took a quick video with a fully gassed mag and 8 shots loaded. Will post once it's done uploading.

Note: It is only firing a BB when I rack the slide by hand.

Looking at the video vs other videos its not cocking all the way back to reset the hammer.
What would cause that?

Hi Mythos47R - Welcome to the KWA Forums.  Sorry to hera about the issue with your gun. Is your gun new or used? ANd, how long are you charging the mags for?

Hi. Thanks.
My gun is brand new. But not my first, also I have a KSC P226R.

I charge the mags in three intervals of 5 sec. with green gas
I lubricate the gun before using it, both the rail and the springs.

Please help me!

Is it a new can of GG?  And, by any chance does the can have a screw on nozzle often found on the brand Power Green?

Then...my best guess is either dirt and grime in the slide grooves and grooves on the gun.  If it was an older or used gun I would say you have an impact block-hammer-spring-or-trigger reset bar issue.  Hey, just noticed the flag....do this for me:
  • Fill the mag
  • Put in the fridge for 5 minutes
  • Re-fill (top off with gas) the mag
  • Fire the gun
Humor me....a hot mag can cause a build up of gas pressure that the impact block/trigger spring can't overcome causing a similar problem.

Ok! I'll try that. Thanks

But like I said, my gun is new and fully clean and lubricated.
When I do, I tell you as I was.

Hi gcw360!
Sorry for the delay gcw360.
The result of the test you recommended was as follows:
The first 5 shots were successful. But from then on the same fault occurred. From the 10th shot, did not put the BB in the hopup.

Without seeing the gun it's hard to say what's going on.  Any chance you would send it in for repair?
