Just got the SIG226, can it be used with propane gas?

Why would that void the warranty?

Because propane doesn't have silicone lube mixed in with it. If you solely use propane without adding silicone, it will dry out the parts and eventually damage them. KWA has no control whether or not you use lube with your propane. Get it? Plus, they refuse to work on guns that smell like rotten eggs

so can you alternate the use of propane and green gas? I guess you could. Green gas just gets too cold when firing 5 or more rounds.

Propane + Butane + Silicone are the three major ingredients in Green Gas. The exact percentage and PSI vary between brands. KWA's concern over the use of propane in our products is the absences of silicone oil to lubricate and prevents the seals and other vital internal parts from failing due to the freezing characteristics of liquid propane when it is expelled and expanded.
Can you use Propane + a couple drop of silicone at the tip of the valve? The answer is yes but there's no guarantee the silicone oil will mix well and travel far enough to coat all the vital parts.
