LOL I was gonna say....

Trev, I'm not sure if KWA is affiliated with kwacentral.com, but everyone says they're not. But on KWA central's website, they have an ETA for all the new guns. Says the AKG is coming out Q3. Might as well just buy whatever you want if that's gonna make you happy... lol

Change of plans, of course. Trevytrev. :sigh: If I could push the AK to be release earlier, I would. It's been something I've been waiting (saving) for some time, as well.

If KWA wanted to update their ETA and Prices, don't you think they would just post it on their own website? ;)

When retailers are focusing in on particular models, it's most likely because its release is in the near future.

Good question. So far, before a KWA US release, we've seen KSC or KWA Asia release their version first. I cannot answer for certainty that KSC or KWA Asia will have the AK GBBR out first. However, what has been seen or said a few times already, the KWA US version sports the latest internal improvements. It can nearly be seen as the KSC and KWA Asia as the earlier generations and the KWA US Version as the final version.

Clarifying what I mean, for example, the KWA US LM4 will have the most improved internals, opposed to the KSC and KWA Asia LM4.

As a reminder, a purchase of a KSC or KWA Asia product, will not be recognized as a KWA product, in the US. Therefore, no Customer Support or Repair Services for KSC or KWA Asia Products, here in the US.

I was going to buy a Classic Army AK, but saw this and I'll wait a month or 2 as I like KWA. From what I understand there will be an electric powered version with blowback? I'm not crazy about blowback on electric guns as I have a G&G MP5 that's blowack and it sucks battery like no tomorrow.

KWA's have a reputation for being battery efficient so hopefully this won't be an issue. I do need an AK of some sort.

In the meantime does anyone know where I can get some North Korean BDU's? I figure when I carry an AK I may as well look the part. I've looked all over for a pair, but can't find any. I'd settle for some decent Chinese, Russian or Syrian BDU's.

Since its not only blowback but also features a kinetic recoil system, I would expect the gun to drain power more than a normal AEG. This is probably one of the reasons why KWA really recommends a 11.1 Lipo for these new ERG's. Id probably carry two spare batteries on me just to be safe. We'll see how much room they have for battery space, and what type of battery would be best suited for each model.
As for your search for Korean BDU's, I can't help you there, sorry bud!

The battery space on the AK74 is gonna be huge, considering there is a hollow fixed stock just like the Sr12 has. But the AK74SU will have very limited battery space, considering the battery is going inside the hand guard. And Aaps is right, KWA suggests an 11.1v lipo to deliver the ultimate felt recoil in the ERG series, the more powerful the battery, the better the KFS will work.

So does the bolt actually "blowback?" I heard it somewhere that it doesnt move when fired.

In the AKR74 and AKR74su, (both of which are ERG guns with the Kinetic Feedback system) both utilize a counterweight inside the body of the gun that moves back and forth to simulate felt recoil. Now although the KFS counterweight is moving, we are not certain at this point if the actual physical external bolt moves back and forth. I know that the RM4 has the counterweight and the external "bolt" is moving back and forth, but the main difference is that the M4 platform has a bolt release, where the bolt actually comes into play, and the AK platform does not have a bolt release.

Never get your hopes up too much. Plans may change, and considering none of the new KWA guns are out to the public yet, (but that's soon to change,) KWA still has a lot of stuff to make before they get to the AKG/AKR series.

I dont know. I would be focused on the AK quiet a bit in the business aspect. Once released I expect the ERG series to pull in the most profit. Releasing during the summer is the best time as kids are out of school and being able to play airsoft more means their profit base will be larger if released in Q3 rather than Q4 (disregarding late Q4 (Christmas))
