I have the KWA G36C 2GX I got on Sep 13, 2010 from NoLimitAirsoft.
I was wondering if since then has there been any updates to the G36C other then H&k markings? Sep 13, 2010 was quite some time ago. Anything change in the models KWA is currently selling?

I have not shot more then 10,000-15,000rnds through it. No maintenance other then cleaning the barrel. I never left the spring compressed on full auto while it's in storage. I make sure to decompress the spring. It's a completely stock KWA G36C. Don't know what it is shooting at now but with all things I said considered what velocity would you expect it to be currently if I used .28 BBs or .25sBBs? (Quote from my BB thread)

I have not touched the thing. It's stock, I have been using a 7.4V 2000mah Lipo. Maintenance needed? Has my velocity dropped since I got it?
I even put scotch tape on the barrel when it's in my closet to prevent dust from going down the barrel.

What do you guys think?

Also, the bucking somewhat sticks out into the barrel. Is this normal? When I look down the inner barrel I can see the bucking slightly sticking out from the slot. I took it apart and readjusted it just now and the prongs slighty go into the barrel. Any if on this be helpful. I did as perfect of a job putting it back. There not much more I can do if it's not suppose to be this way. Putting the bucking in was a tight fit and I oiled with silicone(just the outside) before I put it back in.

EDIT: Sorry for Grammer/Spelling. My fingers are sometimes clumsy on the small screen of the iPhone.

Off hand, some made after 2010 might be shimmed. Additionally, some are hit or miss with over-cycling when running a 11.1 lipo. For the ones that over-cycle you can: A) Run a lower voltage battery, B) use a stiffer spring, or C) remove the sector clip.

As far as I am aware, there has been no official explanation as to why the G36's over-cycle on 11.1's but I suspect could be because of more efficient / upgraded KWA motors?

I only use 7.4V lipo, I am satisifed with it's ROF.
Sep 13, 2010 from NoLimitAirsoft, I thought they were unshimmed. Why are they shimmed now?
I hope QC has not gone down. KWA always seemed to be on it's game.

Should I take out the whole barrel and hopup assembly to clean the inner barrel or should I just leave it in the gun when I clean the barrel?

I noticed my hopup nub sticks slightly out into the barrel, is this normal? I took it apart and it was the same, doesn't seem to effect performace and is pretty accurate but I am curious as to if it's normal to have the nub prongs pertrude slightly into the barrel withthe hopup all the way off.

Also, why do I have a "warn status" on below my default avatar? It appears I am the only one that has this.

Thanks allot for responing King. Much appreciated.
