well, I'll give it a shot when i get my lm4c. I didn't mean to sound like i thought the socomgear is a bad rail. I was just explaning my experience with it on my km4ris. I do like the looks and feel of it, and if mounts correctly to my lm4 then I will run it.Thanks everyone for your input, its much appriciated.

Same here, I've been searching for a JG 614 but can't find one anywhere.

You can get just the parts you need from overseas.

P.S. I'm working on a better method for making the LM416, so stayed tuned. All I can say is that my 2nd gen. will look a whole lot better than the 1st gen. (Akira built his using my 1st gen. method)

Going with the VFC externals? If I had better tools and patience, I definitely would've kept those parts and machined them to work.

No, I was never able to get a hold of VFC parts but I found a close second. Once I've completed the mod and make sure it meets my quality standards, I will post a guide detailing all the parts and procedures.

You got it. But a word of caution to everyone, it will require a lot of fabrication know how. If you don't know how to use or don't have access to shop tools, use my original method. I will try to post a how-to sometime next week.

How everyones LM4 holding up? I want to get one so bad, but had a bad experience with GBBR. It was a G&P WOC, and worried if I was to get an LM4 that it would have the same problems as well.

Yup, nice setup.  I see you put the LaRue handstop as well as the magpul foregrip.  Do you find that it's hard to index your hand in between since you're sandwiching it between the two "index points"?
I was looking at how you set it up and I realized you weren't using the larue handstop with your index finger but with the palm in between the two.
