Will this metal body work in a CQR?

I'm thinking about buying a CQR due to the durability of the internals and field-legal velocity, but after shooting real AR-15's for the past 16 years, the plastic body and screw-style takedown pins just feel really cheap in my hands.

it fits. but you will still have screw-style take-down pins.

Any way to get standard looking takedown pins, or is that something I'd just have to live with?

EDIT: Either way, thanks for the info on the body.

It is something you'll need to live with. If you want something more realistic you should look into getting the ERG series or the LM4 series, which do have the retaining plungers that keep the take-down pins within the body.
